Acceptance of Terms
By installing, accessing, or using Huddle Sync, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Huddle Sync Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use Huddle Sync.
Purpose
Huddle Sync helps users import recurring Excel reports into Google Sheets™ using dedicated Huddle Sync Report Delivery Emails. The service is intended to reduce repetitive manual work and help users manage scheduled or on-demand spreadsheet imports.
Huddle Sync does not access, read, search, or monitor a user’s Gmail™ inbox. Reports are processed only when they are delivered to a Huddle Sync Report Delivery Email associated with a report connection created by the user.
Report Connections
Users may create one or more report connections. Each report connection may include:
- A report name.
- A Huddle Sync Report Delivery Email or Connection ID.
- A destination spreadsheet and destination tab.
- An import mode and formatting preferences.
- Optional expected-sender or subject-matching rules.
- An optional automation schedule.
You are responsible for configuring each report connection correctly and for ensuring that only authorized reports are sent to the assigned Huddle Sync Report Delivery Email.
User Responsibility
You are responsible for the reports, source systems, sender addresses, destination spreadsheets, destination tabs, schedules, and settings you configure in Huddle Sync.
You must have the legal right and necessary authorization to process, transmit, and import the information contained in any report sent through Huddle Sync.
You are responsible for reviewing imported data and confirming that imports are complete and accurate before relying on them for business, financial, operational, employment, compliance, legal, or other important decisions.
You are also responsible for maintaining appropriate backups and access controls for your destination spreadsheets and imported data.
Google Account and Permissions
Huddle Sync requires Google Account permissions to provide its functionality. These permissions may include access to Google Drive™, Google Sheets™, Google Apps Script™ services, and the user’s primary Google Account email address.
Huddle Sync may also request permission to communicate with the Huddle Sync backend and to create scheduled Apps Script™ triggers when the user enables automation.
You control whether to authorize Huddle Sync. You may revoke Huddle Sync’s access at any time through your Google Account permissions. Revoking access may stop imports, automation, and other app functionality.
Report Delivery and Processing
Excel reports must be delivered to the Huddle Sync Report Delivery Email associated with the intended report connection. Huddle Sync may use the Connection ID, sender address, subject, file name, attachment type, and other configured matching rules to route and process a report.
Huddle Sync does not guarantee that every delivered report will match a connection or complete successfully. Reports may fail to process because of unsupported file formats, invalid files, incorrect configuration, missing attachments, sender or subject mismatches, service interruptions, spreadsheet restrictions, Google service limits, or other technical conditions.
Imported Data and Temporary Files
During the import process, Huddle Sync may temporarily convert an Excel report into a format that can be read and imported into Google Sheets™.
Temporary files are used only to complete the requested import and may be removed after processing. Imported data remains in the destination Google Sheets™ file selected by the user until the user deletes or modifies it.
Depending on the import mode selected, Huddle Sync may replace existing values, append new rows, or create a new destination tab. You are responsible for selecting the appropriate import mode and reviewing the results.
Automation
When automation is enabled, Huddle Sync may create Google Apps Script™ triggers that run while the user is not actively using the spreadsheet.
Scheduled execution times may be affected by Google Apps Script™ scheduling, service availability, quotas, account restrictions, or other technical factors. Huddle Sync does not guarantee that an automated import will run at an exact time.
Users may disable automation through the Huddle Sync sidebar or by removing the related Google Apps Script™ trigger.
Import Activity and Operational Records
Huddle Sync may display or store operational information related to report connections and imports, including:
- Connection status.
- Import date and time.
- Report file name.
- Destination tab.
- Import mode.
- Row or column counts.
- Completion status.
- Error or troubleshooting information.
Operational records are intended to help users review activity and troubleshoot problems. They are not guaranteed to be a complete legal, compliance, archival, or audit record.
Data and Privacy
Huddle Sync’s handling of Google user data, report information, account information, and backend records is described in the Privacy Policy.
By using Huddle Sync, you acknowledge and agree to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
Confidential and Sensitive Information
You are responsible for determining whether Huddle Sync is appropriate for the information contained in your reports.
You should not use Huddle Sync to transmit or process information when doing so would violate applicable law, contractual obligations, organizational policies, confidentiality requirements, or data-security requirements.
You are responsible for obtaining any required approvals before using Huddle Sync with confidential, regulated, personal, employee, student, financial, health, or other sensitive information.

Termination
You may stop using Huddle Sync at any time by removing report connections, disabling automation, revoking Google Account access, and uninstalling the add-on.
Huddle Sync may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks, legal requirements, service abuse, or violations of these Terms.

These Terms of Use may be updated when Huddle Sync’s services, business practices, technical requirements, or legal obligations change.
