Overview
Huddle Sync helps users import Excel reports from Gmail™ into Google Sheets™. This policy explains how the add-on handles data.
Data Access
Huddle Sync may request access to Gmail™, Google Drive, Google Sheets™, and Apps Script services only to perform import functionality configured by the user.
How Data Is Used
- Gmail™ access is used to find messages with matching subjects and Excel attachments.
- Drive access is used to temporarily convert Excel attachments for import.
- Sheets access is used to write imported data into spreadsheets selected by the user.
- Apps Script trigger access is used to schedule automatic imports when enabled by the user.
Data Storage
Huddle Sync stores user configuration and import activity inside the user’s Google environment using Apps Script properties and the user’s selected spreadsheet. Huddle Sync does not sell user data.
Sharing
Huddle Sync does not sell or share user data with third parties. User data is used only to provide the requested import automation.
Temporary Files
When importing Excel attachments, Huddle Sync may create a temporary Google Sheets™ conversion file. The add-on attempts to delete or trash the temporary file after the import is complete.
